Your Voice E-Petitions
It’s now even easier to lend Your Voice to the local issues that matter to you with our new e-petitions system.
The system, which has been developed in partnership with Public-I, gives anyone who lives, works or studies in North East Derbyshire the chance to organise or sign a petition about the local area.
Issues which attract 1,000 signatures or more could be debated by a meeting of the Council while any petition with over 600 signatures can require a senior officer to attend a meeting of an overview and scrutiny committee to give evidence.
We will aim to respond to your petition, regardless of its number of signatures, within five working days and let you know what we are going to do about it.
You can view all active e-petitions by clicking on the ‘Live Petitions’ tab on the left-hand side of this page.
To create an e-petition you will need to register with this site. Simply click ‘Register’ on the right-hand side of this screen, fill out the required fields and then click on the ‘Add a Petition’ tab.
